Side by side, hand in hand, battle lines, drawn in the sand. With painted faces we take our places, we are marching to war. A crimson moon watches in pride as you and I fall in stride by stride, your eyes so strong, and your lips so fine, my greatest dream is to make you mine.

Brought to life by just your smile I try to show you that I care. All the while the world moves onward, unaware. I dream of you, to hold you tight, to watch you smile through the night. When life seemed hopeless a spark appeared, with snow white hair and a heart that cared.

As I take you by the hand, promise that with me you’ll stand, while we march to war.

I challenge you dear, our war lies at heart, for I need you so close, but we’re better apart

And our spectators cry, they do not understand, we walk this alone, longing to be hand in hand.

With blackened souls we march forward, our hands on hearts and blades apart. My eyes catch yours and I stop moving, for nothing in this world is so beautiful and soothing. I clench my hands and lower my face as hope withers slowly into outer space.

You watch him, his face so fine, and his body so prime. I will stand by your side, your hand in mine and help you make that boy your find.

High and low, whats find is now found, why cant you see that my hearts not out of bound. I’m as cold as winter and as strong as stone, but I won’t face this darkness all alone.

I don’t know where this takes us, I don’t know what we are. I don’t know why I think of you when I see a shining star. The best is pretty boring, arrogant and untrue. Never has someone been so kind as you.

So I shall stand by you, through the thick and thin. Together we fight and together we can win. For they don’t treat me right, and they don’t understand. Now kiss my lips so gently, as we remain hand in hand.

Eyes so bright, world so light, what I would do to be next to you this night. The moon so fine, your heart and mine, together in and endless embrace. A love story of two lonely teens that couldn’t be together but in their happiest dreams.

The battle is hard, the battle is long but if you’re by my side then I can sing the happiest song. The darkness won’t touch; the darkness won’t embrace because I know that you’ll be in my face. Your hands on mine, our fingers entwined, never has life seemed so incredibly divine.

Just know that I’m complex, I’m broken in two, if you help to fix me, to you i’ll stay true. The moon and the stars, they witness such power, if kisses were seconds I would send you an hour.

But this deep, dark side, it battles with my good, fix my damaged soul, i wish that you could. This freezing cold past, should be blocked out, my tears fall so often i swear they’d save a drought.

I should’ve built a bridge, instead of a wall, so trust is an issue, i don’t trust anyone at all. But I might let you have it, around you i feel like me, just remember the word in my name e-l-l-i-e.

In my dreams I can make you smile, I can take your pain away for just a little while. I wish that I could help, wipe away your tears but sometimes I feel so weak when I give in to my fears. Your past is a wall, one which isn’t small, but I will stay with you until it is no more.

I feel so useless, I feel like an observer when all I can do is watch you drift further. Confusion is rampant, in my mind and heart and I can’t imagine a world without you apart. I will always be there, when times are not fair because you deserve the world and someone who cares.

A good friend is what you need and I am more than happy to be that creed. You’re an amazing girl and nothing short of special, any guy would be lucky to have you as his devil.

Don’t say the word useless: your more and your real, otherwise why, do i feel how i feel? i’ve heard your words before, they came from his lips, but i believe them from you, i’ll give you some tips.

Don’t tell me i’m amazing, i do not believe i am, and always keep your promise, i put my trust in you sam. i love breakfast at gloria jeans, coffee and raisin toast, when i’m pushing you away thats when i need you the most.

They think that i’m complicated, can you figure me out? it’s really not that hard, and sam you i don’t doubt. I know you solve everyones problems, but i love you for yours, i love your fears and dark secrets, your goals and your flaws.

When you push me away I’ll fight for your time, I’ll pull you back and fight for your mind. I don’t know what’s happening, but I know you’re the reason I’m smiling, the reason that right now I couldn’t feel down if the world was dying. I feel comfortable with you like I never have before, like you’re the drug to keep me in the war.

When we first spoke I remember your words, you said that you didn’t think you could be loved but I’m here to give my word. If ever the time comes to give you my heart, I promise you that giving my life would be a small price to pay, to see you smile and live another day.

So I shall stand by you, through the thick and the thin. Together we fight and together we will win. For friends forever, no matter what happens, no matter the distance no matter the difference.
